Almost there. Just a couple little details and it'll be time to come up with a lens for this old school workhorse. I think I'll be modelling my 105mm f2.5.
It's so tempting to try to recreate the actual optics, but there's no way I could get them accurate enough. And if I did, Maxwell would choke rendering light through all that glass. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. The 'Nikon' lettering and the 'F3' are actually part of the model. The only bump map is the leather texture.
I found Rhino very easy to learn, but I'd used AutoCAD a lot, which is similar in many ways. It depends on what you're used to I guess.
